By accessing or using Varse, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the application.

Description of Service

Varse is an audio recognition application that identifies movies and television scenes from spoken dialogue. The service analyzes audio captured through your device and attempts to match it with known media content.

Varse does not stream, host, or distribute full movies or television shows.

Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account.

You can delete your account at any time within the app. Upon deletion, your associated data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Permitted Use

You agree to use Varse only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service in any way that:

• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempts to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the service
• Interferes with or disrupts the operation of Varse

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use any audio you provide to the app. You should not use Varse in a way that violates the rights of others.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Varse application, including its software, design, and branding, are owned by Varse.

Movie and television titles, dialogue, and related content remain the property of their respective copyright holders.

Third-Party Services

Varse may rely on third-party services (such as Firebase) to provide authentication, analytics, and infrastructure. These services may process data in accordance with their own terms and policies.

No Guarantees

Varse is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always identify media accurately or operate without interruption.

Results may vary depending on audio quality, background noise, and available dataset coverage.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Varse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the application.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service if these Terms are violated or if misuse is detected.
